The B.A. in Biochemistry major requires fourteen courses of chemistry and biology coursework as well as required associated courses in physics and mathematics. This program provides students a strong foundation in chemistry and biology and allows students to gain expertise in other areas in order to prepare them for professional schools (medical, veterinary, or dental), interdisciplinary science careers (such as forensic science, business development, pharmaceutical sales, patent law, or management), and education (high school or middle school). Because of the flexibility of the program, students will have the opportunity to pursue additional minors or majors including combinations such as: Biochemistry/Forensic Science, Biochemistry/Education, Biochemistry/Criminology, Biochemistry/Business, or Biochemistry/Psychology.

The B.A in Biochemistry requires completion of fourteen courses (54 credits) of chemistry and biology coursework, as well as required associated courses in physics and mathematics.
