EXS 4411 - Exercise Physiology II with LabCredits: 4 Exercise Physiology II is an integrative educational experience and is the second half of a two-sequence course designed to examine advanced human physiology and the physiological responses to acute and chronic physical stress. Part II of this course will first address concepts related to force, including: skeletal muscular physiology, neural control of exercise muscle, and exercise fatigue. Part II of this course will first address concepts related to force, including: skeletal muscular physiology, neural and hormonal control of exercise muscle, and exercise fatigue and soreness. Students will also use specific components of research methods to engage in laboratory and seminar experiences. The integrated laboratory experience will provide students opportunities to assess, evaluate, and demonstrate some of the physiological concepts discussed in class. Students will apply acquired knowledge and skills to perform data collection, interpret and analyze the data collected, and present results. Prerequisite(s): HSC 1122 , HSC 1123 , EXS 3311
