MTH 1217 - Calculus I

Credits: 4
A first course in calculus for functions of a single variable. Limits, derivatives, and integrals of algebraic, trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions, and applications of differentiation, including related rates, optimization, and the evaluation of indeterminate forms will be covered. A graphing calculator is required. We recommend TI-84+.
Prerequisite(s): C- or better in MTH 1016  or exemption from MTH 1016  through the Mathematics Placement Assessment.
