Study of American literature since the 1960s as a reflection of the social and cultural upheavals of the period. Emphasis on writers such as Dubus, Tan, Wilson, Harjo, Banks, Cisneros, DeLillo, Rich, and Mamet. After 1800. This course counts toward the English major American literature requirement.
