Learn more about Engineering
The Division of Engineering prepares students to become creative, collaborative problem-solvers who design and implement solutions that address real-world challenges. Through the division’s signature approach-Engineering from Day 1-students engage in hands-on, project-based learning starting in their very first semester. Whether developing infrastructure, designing complex systems, or exploring sustainable technologies, students gain both the technical expertise and professional skills needed to thrive in today’s engineering landscape. All students complete a capstone design project and fulfill an experiential learning requirement-typically through internships or co-ops-ensuring they graduate with meaningful, job-ready experience. The division offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, and Construction Management, and houses interdisciplinary programs in Architecture and Building Technology. Minors in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering offer additional pathways for specialization. Across all programs, students learn by doing-starting on day one.
