Communication and Media Minor

Minor Requirements

All Communication and Media minors must complete a total of five (5) courses for 20 credits. After completing the required courses, minors may choose two additional Communication and Media courses at the 3000- level or above. The required courses are specified below: 

COM1020: Public Communication

COM2401: Introduction to Media

COM2801: Introduction to Communication

*Internships do not count as an elective.

• COM 1020 - Public Communication Credits: 4
• COM 2401 - Introduction to Mass Communication
• COM 2801 - Introduction to Communication Credits: 4
• One (1) additional COM elective at the 3000 level
• One (1) additional COM elective at the 4000 level
