Prepare for a leading role in corporate health and wellness, public health, health education, health coaching, fitness programming and other health-related fields. Merrimack’s Master of Science in Health Promotion and Management degree provides a tightly integrated curriculum in health promotion, disease prevention, leadership, marketing, program administration and policy. Students will graduate with the well-rounded expertise and perspective required for a fulfilling career in health-related fields. Three concentrations are available that allow students to complete elective options that fit their career goals.
The well-rounded curriculum providing students skills and understanding in health policy, and driving evidence-based population health strategies has also been a great springboard for students aspiring to attend medical, dental and physician assistant school as well.
Admission Requirements
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a health-related field (such as public health, health education/health promotion, exercise science/ kinesiology or human nutrition) or a bachelor’s degree in another field plus professional experience in a health-related field, is required.
