This major offers a multidisciplinary degree that connects two fields across the college: criminology and criminal justice and chemistry and biochemistry. The forensic science major prepares you to use scientific methods to investigate criminal cases. You’ll participate in an internship that introduces you to real-life applications of class concepts.  As a forensic science major, you will discover how to solve real-world problems, analyze various aspects of crime scenes, solving crimes, and learning the motives behind them. Potential career paths for forensic science majors upon graduation include: forensic scientist, police officer, criminologist, forensic investigator, detective, and private investigator.
