The History program offers minors in European, General, United States, and World history. Each requires completing a minimum of five courses (20 credits) in courses that satisfy minor requirements, including any relevant HIS 3000 - Special Topics in History course. History minors must take a minimum of two history courses at Merrimack College. History minors are required to create and maintain an electronic portfolio and a narrative summary of what they have learned. The GPA for the History minor will be calculated by taking the average of courses designated HIS.

The minor requires the completion of five courses (20 credits): two required core courses and three elective courses.
