Business Administration

Minimum number of credits to complete the minor: 20

Minimum cumulative GPA required to graduate: 2.0

Students who major in a program outside of the Girard School of Business have the opportunity to minor in a variety of business areas. The goal of the Business Administration minor is to give the student a demonstrable competency in the fundamental knowledge, skills, and competencies of business. Students must complete five courses for the minor. This minor is unavailable for students pursuing a major within Girard School of Business.

Minor Requirements

The minor is comprised of three required courses and two elective courses.

Required Courses

Complete the following three courses:

ACC 2203 - Accounting for Business Credits: 4
MGT 1100 - Introduction to Business Credits: 4
MGT 1150 - Technology Skills for Business Credits: 4

Required Electives

Choose two elective courses offered in the Girard School of Business at the 2000 level or higher, one of which must be at least at the 3000 level or higher.
