Biology is the core life science program. The Biology program provides a comprehensive, interdisciplinary education offering courses aimed at breadth and depth of study, including cellular and molecular biology, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, genetics, physiology, organismal biology, animal behavior, plant biology and physiology, conservation biology, ecology, and evolution. The minor excludes courses such as BIO 1106 Human Biology  and BIO 2009 Environmental Biology  designed for non-majors. Students should consult their biology advisor for the minor when deciding on courses to take.
