Educational Technology Certificate

Minimum Cumulative GPA required to graduate: 3.0

This program will prepare educators to use technology more effectively in their classroom, as well as to help their colleagues, buildings and districts make better use of educational technology. Students can choose from a variety of classes based on their interests and professional goals. Classes in this program can be used to help students prepare for the Digital Literacy/Teaching Computer Science (grades 5-12) MTEL examination.

EDU 5611 and EDU 5612 were developed to help teachers prepare for the digital literacy/teaching computer science MTEL exam that can lead to licensure through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
