Business Analytics Certificate

Minimum Cumulative GPA required to graduate:  3.0

Building on existing foundational knowledge of data science and business analytics, the Business Analytics Certificate advances one’s skills and competencies by engaging students with more advanced topics and applications in data exploration, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and data mining. This three-course sequence is designed to develop a deeper understanding of the domain of business analytics and acquire more advanced capabilities in the field. Through a mixture of theoretical knowledge and hands-on immersive practical learning, students build skills in extracting decision-guiding insights out of data, and synthesizing the results into actionable business decisions. The Business Analytics Certificate assumes prior knowledge comparable to the skills developed in the Data Analytics Foundations Certificate.
