Data Analytics Foundations Certificate

Minimum number of credits required to graduate:  12

Minimum Cumulative GPA required to graduate:  3.0

 

The Data Analytics Foundations Certificate develops foundational skills in extracting decision-guiding insights out of data. Students learn the core elements of data management, data preparation, feature engineering, statistical analysis, data visualization, and result interpretation and communication, in a theory + application context. This certificate is geared toward professionals who are interested in acquiring data literacy and developing the core data analytic skills that are the foundation for careers in data science and business analytics. It assume some prior STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) coursework and/or quantitative aptitude. 

Admission requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree, with a minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Resume
