Data Science Certificate

Minimum number of credits required to graduate:  12

Minimum Cumulative GPA required to graduate:  3.0

Building on existing foundational knowledge of data science and analytics, the Data Science Certificate advances one’s data analytic skills and competencies by engaging students with more advanced topics and applications in data exploration, predictive modeling, and machine learning. Through a mixture of theoretical knowledge and hands-on immersive practical learning, students in this three-course sequence develop a deeper understanding of the domain of data science and acquire more advanced competencies in the field. The Data Science Certificate assumes prior knowledge comparable to the skills developed in the Data Analytics Foundations Certificate.
