The International Studies minor is geared towards students majoring in any discipline who want to explore international and global issues within and beyond their current major. Students must complete a minimum of 18 credits (5 courses). No more than two courses or eight credits from another major or minor may double-count. Double-counting with all general education requirements is permitted.

Two courses from within a concentration of the major. Students must choose two courses from different departments, unless they are INT courses. The two departments for elective courses may overlap with the two departments chosen from the constrained list of six courses above.

Some courses in concentrations may require prerequisites. If students wish to use one of these courses to fulfill a requirement in International Studies, they are responsible for either taking the requisite(s) or obtaining a waiver from the professor teaching the course.
