Minimum number of credits to complete the minor: 20
The minor in Cyber Security requires completing a minimum of 20 credits in courses that satisy the minor requirements. Students who elect to minor in Cyber Security must take the required course POL3541 and either CSC1610 or CSC1611. Students then choose either the Policy or the Computer Science track and take the required courses within that track. Students will also choose one or two electives (depending on their track) from the list of electives below. The Cyber Security Minor requires a GPA of 2.00 or better in the minor.

Only two courses may be double-counted between a Cyber Security minor and any other major/minor, including Political Science, Public Policy, or Computer Science.
* Course has prerequisite of MTH1000 or placing out of MTH1000. In addition, students must pass this course with a B- or better in order to move on to advanced Computer Science courses.
