Minimum number of credits required to graduate: 124
Minimum Cumulative GPA required to graduate: 2.0
Minimum number of credits to complete the minor: 18-20

Minor Requirements
- A minimum of 18-20 credits and five (5) courses
- Completion of the required introductory course: WGS 1010 - Introduction to Gender, Race, and Sexuality Studies
- Remaining courses selected from Women’s and Gender Studies courses (there is no limit on how many WGS courses can count toward the minor)
- Only 2 cross-listed courses can be counted toward the minor in any single department that is not WGS.
For example, a student may apply 2 cross-listed courses in English (or other departments) that are among those accepted as WGS cross-listed courses and/or departments.
- It is highly recommended that Women’s and Gender Studies minors take at least one course beyond WGS 1010 that focuses on difference and diversity at the intersections of gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality and class. Minors are also encouraged to study gender in the context of “developing” nations beyond western borders.
