The Department offers minor programs in European, United States, and World history. Each requires completing a minimum of 5 courses and a minimum of 18 credits in courses that satisfy minor requirements, including any relevant HIS 3000 - Special Topics in History course. History minors must take a minimum of 2 history courses at Merrimack College. History minors are required to create and maintain an electronic portfolio and a narrative summary of what they have learned. The GPA for the History minor will be calculated by taking the average of courses designated HIS.
