Human Development and Human Services, B.A.

This bachelor degree program requires a minimum of 124 credits.

The Human Development and Human Services major will introduce students to the theories, concepts, and practices to prepare individuals to work in the non-profit sector, after-school programs, and community based organizations, as school counselors or other non-public school teaching roles.

The Human Development and Human Services major accommodates students with interests in a variety of human service fields. The Human Development and Human Services major is an appropriate choice for students wishing to gain an understanding of development across the lifespan and those interested in applied settings.

Human Development and Human Services majors, like all other Merrimack College students, take additional courses that fulfill liberal studies core requirements, as well as complete a field experience to explore career interests related to human services.
