Overview:

The Department of Applied Human Development and Community Studies includes the following programs:

• Bachelor’s in Human Development and Human Services

We are an interdisciplinary department comprised of scholar-practitioners who are committed to activism and social change.

• People of all ages develop the skills and capacities for living balanced, productive, and meaningful lives.

• Communities activate resources to address their needs and interests through collaborative planning processes.

Our Mission: We work to educate and prepare students to identify human talents, to activate community resources, and to address systemic inequities so that individuals, families, and communities can thrive.
