The Mechanical Engineering Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Merrimack provides a unique engineering experience. Our rigorous curriculum includes extensive general education requirements along with a well-respected engineering curriculum. Our classes are small, faculty teach lectures and laboratories, and we have a strong co-op program. We also offer opportunities to minor in Business or Math. Our Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.
Departmental Academic Policies
- In order to satisfy the prerequisite requirements for any mathematics, science, or engineering courses, students must achieve a grade of “C-” or higher in the prerequisite course. (This policy applies to all students beginning the B.S.M.E. program on or after Fall 2016.)
- Students are allowed to repeat any Departmental course below a “C-“, as long as the course is re-taken in the Department.
