Mission
The Girard School of Business empowers and inspires students to do well and do good by building their intellect, capabilities, and social awareness through experiential learning, creative pedagogy, and relevant faculty research.
Vision
The Girard School of Business will be the business school of choice for prospective students, faculty, staff, and employers.
Program Learning Goals

Program Requirements
The Girard School of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. This bachelor’s degree program requires a minimum of 124 credits. As part of the overall 124 credit minimum, Girard School students will take courses that are distributed among the following categories:
- Merrimack College general education curriculum
- Girard School of Business core curriculum
- Concentration requirements
- Remaining courses are “open” electives
Students are required to select their concentration at the end of their sophomore year. Although students may change concentrations after their sophomore year, such changes could result in a program of study that extends beyond four years. Girard School students must select one concentration and meet those requirements to graduate. Dual concentrations are permitted. However, having two concentrations may result in a program of study that extends beyond four years and may involve taking additional credits beyond what is required to graduate with a single concentration. All Girard School students are strongly recommended to have a laptop that meets the minimum laptop requirements.
