POL 2000 - Political Science Methods

This course considers a variety of approaches to political science research, with an emphasis on skills and quantitative approaches that are widely utilized in the study of politics. Students will develop both research skills and learn to understand and appreciate the methodology of the discipline. This course is required for the Political Science major and it is recommended that students take it by the end of sophomore year. Students are strongly encouraged to take Basic Statistics prior to taking this course.
Prerequisite(s): Any other course in Political Science.
