What is the best way to understand your current or potential consumers? How do you know if an ad will be effective? How do you evaluate if your public relations campaign was a success? This course attempts to answer these questions and many other questions by providing an overview of the research tools used by communication and media industry professionals. Students will gain an understanding of how to formulate research questions, conduct and evaluate scientifically rigorous research through hands-on application.
