EDU 3311 - Teaching and Assessing Writing

This course introduces undergraduate students to the teaching and assessment of writing. Students will learn about the knowledge and processes underlying writing proficiency and the pedagogies that foster these knowledge and processes. Students will draw this knowledge to plan and implement writing instruction and assessment for PK-8 students reflecting a wide-range of needs and backgrounds to address the Massachusetts English Language Arts Curricular Frameworks.
