MUS 3330 - Music Composition

The purpose of this course is to develop skills in creative thinking and expression through music composition. Students will study, replicate, and recreate various forms of music composition and will be towards development of their own compositional style through composing for various combinations of instruments, voices, and electronic sounds. Students will also learn how to use notation software and digital audio workstations in order to present their music compositions for either live performance or recorded works.
