BIO 3065 - Natural MedicineCredits: 4 This course focuses on the application of plants in medicine. It offers fundamental information on phyto-medicine and phyto-biotechnology in producing plant-based drugs and vaccines for physical and mental health. This course is designed to enhance students’ understanding of the medicinal and nutritional properties of plants, as well as strategies for adopting a healthy diet and lifestyle. This course is recommended to Biology, Biochemistry, Health Science, and related majors. 4 hours lecture. Prerequisite(s): BIO 1025 , BIO 1027 , or BIO 1028 or consent of instructor.
