PHL 2060 - Biomedical EthicsCredits: 4 This course consists of a critical examination of moral issues in medicine and bioethics. Topics may include: the physician-patient relationship; informed consent; research ethics; issues at the end of life such as euthanasia, physician assisted suicide and the use of advance directives; reproductive technologies, and genetic testing and therapy. Ethical theories and case studies will be introduced to help analyze the chosen issues. Area Requirement for Philosophy: Ethics
