EXS 3307 - Therapeutic Exercise with Integrated LabCredits: 4 Formerly: SME3307 This course is designed to offer Exercise Science/Health Science students a study of the principles and objectives of therapeutic exercise in the rehabilitation of injury and dysfunction. The course will examine different forms of exercise, resistance, and motion and the proper application of each to stabilize, modify, or reverse the process responsible for disability when the nature of the underlying cause is identifiable. Across all topics, a theoretical foundation for didactic knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making will first be established. Prerequisite(s): HSC 1122 , HSC 1123 , both with a grade of C or better.
