EXS 2250 - Research Methods

This course introduces research methods with specific health and exercise science applications. The following processes will be covered: Research question identification (including the steps from developing an idea to submitting an IRB packet to implementing your research plan) and hypotheses, literature searches, research design, evidence-based practice, research ethics, critical evaluation of research, and the clinical implications of the results, and presenting research. We will also cover a conceptual overview of common statistical analyses and terminology.
