CEN 4016 - Concrete Analysis and DesignCredits: 4 This is an introductory course in the design and analysis of reinforced concrete structures. An introduction to the ACI- 318 building code is given in the context of the course to familiarize students with the main design document in the country. The objective of this course is to introduce students to the structural design process and to provide a detailed understanding of the design of reinforced concrete structures. The course will emphasize the general theory and behavior of reinforced concrete, as well as design practice. Prerequisite(s): C- in CEN 3010 and C- MTH 2220 .
