MGT 5420 - Aligning Strategy, People and Performance

This course considers the management of human resources in an enterprise. This course intends to give the modern leader, in any organization, a broad understanding of how and what is involved in delivering competitive advantage through effective and strategic HRM. The key then is the creation of alignment between an organization’s objectives, its context, its strategy, and its HR policies in practices. The class also covers value creation by employees, for customers and on behalf of shareholders.
