BIO 4005 - BiochemistryCredits: 4 A study of the properties, structures, and function of three major classes of biomolecules: proteins, carbohydrates and lipids; a comprehensive survey of carbohydrate metabolism, with emphasis on the integration and control of metabolic pathways. Students read primary literature and/or case studies about areas of student interest, and present the material in both written and oral communication forms.
