THR 1515 - Theatre Practicum: Rehearsal and Performance

This course is a hands-on learning experience in theatre production and performance. Students will gain practical skills and essential knowledge of what it takes to mount a play by working on the mainstage production in the areas of performance, technical, or management. Areas of focus may include acting, stage management, scene shop, lighting, costume shop, props, makeup, public relations, box office, or front of house management. All positions require approval of the program director. Requires a minimum of 40 hours of work. Students may take the course two times only.

 
Prerequisite(s): Theatre major or minor or permission of instructor.
