RTS 1050 - Quest for Meaning

What is the meaning of life? Why am I here? What is my purpose? What constitutes a life well lived? Questions like these have plagued human beings for centuries. This course will examine a variety answers to the question, “What is the meaning of life?” Students will be exposed to a variety of religious and non-religious responses to this question and will be asked to formulate their own answer to this question. In keeping with the College’s Augustinian identity, mission, and vision, this course will pay special attention to Christianity, and highlight the contributions of St. Augustine.
