This course will provide a survey of Greek philosophical thought organized around the theme of the problem of human knowledge, beginning with the Presocratics, then turning to dialogues by Plato and Aristotle’s comprehensive approach to nature and human knowledge, and concluding with the Stoics, Epicureans, and Skeptics.
