THR 1515 - Theatre Practicum: Rehearsal and PerformanceCredits: 2 This course is a hands-on learning experience in theatre production and performance. Students will gain practical skills and essential knowledge of what it takes to mount a production for the stage by working in one of five production areas: scene shop, lighting, costume shop, props or public relations/management. Students may also elect to focus their practicum experience on the performance area by appearing as an actor in a mainstage production. Requires a minimum of 40 hours of work. Students may take the course two times only. Prerequisite(s): Theatre major or minor or permission of instructor.
