COM 3453 - News and New Media II

Formerly: Newspaper and New Media Productions II
This course focuses on the advanced application of media theory, journalism ethics, and production techniques to the school news organization and the expansion of the current news operation into new media formats. Students will produce written news articles for the Beacon. Students will also learn how to translate print news articles into audio and video formats, writing scripts for the teleprompter, learn on-camera performance skills, and basic audio and video editing techniques for news production.
