ACC 5350 - Criminal Tax Investigation

Credits: 2

This course focuses principally upon the interface of our federal tax system with the criminal justice system. This course will cover select federal tax crimes found in United States Code (U.S.C.) Title 26, including U.S.C. § 7201 (Tax Evasion) and U.S.C. § 7206(1) (False Return). The course will cover the legal, evidentiary, and procedural challenges presented in the investigation and prosecution of criminal tax cases.
