MPA 6550G - Comparative Public PolicyCredits: 4 This course is designed to analyze public policy making and implementation in a comparative perspective. We will study the comparative concepts as well as the theoretical and historical background of policymaking. This seminar provides students with an opportunity to learn about how public policies (such as health care, education, and immigration) in other nations differ from these in the United States while simultaneously challenging students to think about why they differ in the ways they do.
