PHL 2040 - Introduction to Political Philosophy

A critical examination of some of the basic issues in political philosophy: the purpose and justification of government, the legitimate extent of government authority over the individual, a citizen’s obligation to obey the law, and the nature of rights and justice.  Area Requirement for Philosophy:  Ethics, History
