ENG 3730 - Modern American PoetryCredits: 4 As developments in the realms of science, industry, and philosophy came to overturn many of the most widely held truths of the 19th century, they also required artists to, in Ezra Pound’s words, “make it new.” This course will focus on High Modernism alongside the modernisms of the disenfranchised.
