CEN 3050 - Environmental EngineeringCredits: 4 Introduction to the processes and systems utilized in the principal areas of environmental engineering-water, wastewater, air and solid waste management. Emphasis is placed on the engineering principles and practices involved in the collection, treatment and disposal of wastewater; the collection, treatment and distribution of water; the types, sources and disposal of solid wastes; and the types, sources, treatment and distribution of air pollutants. A brief introduction to water resources is also included. Prerequisite(s): CHM 1110 and GEN 2012 Corequisite(s): MTH 2220 and GEN 3040
