DSE 6311G - Capstone: Multi-Source Analytics

This course is the culmination of students’ learning - its intent is to offer students opportunities to apply the knowledge acquired in the program, in a directed, hands-on setting. As such, the course is a practicum built around an actual data science focused problem, where students serve as data analytics consultants working with College’s industry partners, using the partners’ data and interacting closely with the key project stakeholders. The course instructor offers guidance and the overall project oversight for the duration of the project; the course final grade encompasses assessment from all key project stakeholders, and it reflects the student’s ability to apply pertinent (to the project) data analytical skills, and the quality of the final project deliverable.
