ECO 3313 - EconometricsCredits: 4 Econometrics deals with the application and theory of statistical and econometric methods to problems in economics. Topics include: basic statistical theory, sampling distributions, simple and multiple regression, hypothesis testing, violations of the basic assumptions, generalized least squares, introduction to simultaneous equation models, chi- square tests and analysis of variances. Prerequisite(s): ECO 1201 and an elementary mathematics course. Fulfills: Social Science distribution requirement. SOSC requirement and Q in LS Core.
