FAA 2250 - Sophomore Independent StudioCredits: 4 This course is an intermediate-level studio art course focused on helping students begin to understand their own unique artmaking practice. The projects assigned in this class are non-medium specific, and specifically designed to encourage the student to start to identify their own artistic preferences, styles, and tastes. Through weekly one-on-one meetings with faculty, monthly group progress critiques, and formal reviews, students will investigate, hone, and expand upon their own artistic interests, and art-making habits. Semester projects based around research, navigating failure, collaboration, and the student’s unique personal voice will be explored. Prerequisite(s): Four studio courses from the following list: FAA1210, FAA1220, FAA1230, FAA1270, FAA1710, FAA2220, FAA2230, FAA2450, FAA2840, FAA2850 Fulfills: AL in LS Core
